Yasaman Dehmiyani is an Iranian visual artist, based in Tehran, Capital of Iran. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in photography from Tehran Centre for Art and Architecture in 2015, Yasaman Dehmiyani works as a staff photographer at NVP Image. Following graduation, Dehmiyani worked as a journalist for Iranian publications, including Iran Daily, the Hamshahri newspaper, and Iran newspaper.Following her partnership with the NVP Images photo agency , Yasaman focuses primarily on education art and short and long- teem projects that are documentary-artistic in centre around personal experiences. Yasaman has studied under renowned photographers like Andrea Burous and Stanley Green and was chosen to take part in the 2014 Noor Images and Nikon Masterclass. Among the honours she has won are Ideas Tap and 2015 Magnum Photos also other accomplishments are the 2020 Pulitzer Group Grant, and the News Photo of the Year Photographer Under 25 Award. Additionally, in 2022, the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) awarded her a fellowship for three online courses in modern art.
